Russian Venture Company, StartupSamara and National Business Angels Association are excited to invite you to the International Business Angels Forum «Volga Angels» which will be held in the presidential residence «Volga Cliff Resort» located on the coast of the river Volga in Samara Region on September 23-24, year of 2016.

The Forum will be focused on the following topic: «Business-Angel Success Drivers under New Realities: Possibilities for Cooperation in Russia and Abroad».

For novice business angels this event represents an «entry ticket» to the professional venture investment market: they will be able not only to get themselves familiar with the special features in searching and selecting projects, portfolio building/construction, accelerating invested companies, but also to join the activity of the existing and reputable business angel syndicates and associations.

The following guests will share their experience with the Forum participants: Igor Ryabenkiy (AltairCapital), Alexander Borodich (VentureClub), Vitaly Polekhin (NBAA), Liudmila Golubkova (StartaCapital), Konstantin Siniushin (the Untitled), Bogdan Yarovoy (SmartHub), Igor Kaloshin (IntelSoftware), Eduard Fiyaksel (Startovye Investitsii) and etc.

The special guests of the Forum will be President of European Business Angel Network, Candace Johnson, a business angel from Turkey, Mr. Baybars Altuntas, President of the Portuguese National Federation for Business Angels Clubs and Associations (FNABA), Miguel Henriques, and Member of the Board at Nordic Female Business Angel Network (NFBAN), Audra Shallal.

Participants of the Forum will be able to attend topical workshops, such as «Becoming a Business Angel» and «Establishing a Business Angel Club» to be held by the experts of the European Business Angels Association (Network).

For those who have already managed to gain experience in private investments, «Volga Angels» is a great opportunity to explore their vision and share their venture market operating strategies & features, to get feedback from the market, as well as to network with peers in an informal setting, and to find business partners from Russia and Europe plus to extend their own project pipeline. A pitch session for the best startups will be held during the Forum: namely for the finalists of federal and regional accelerators in addition to portfolio projects endorsed by large syndicates/unions.
